PRR 7720, B-6S, 1946
Here is a photo via Forrest W. Trittenbach that was taken near Glassport, Pennsylvania, on 8 September 1946. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #7720, a B-6S (0-6-0) switcher built in Juniata as a B-6 during 1903, later rebuilt as a B-6S, and retired in August of 1948 after 45 years of faithful service. Note that the bell, front marker lights, and main driving rods have been removed in preparation for scrapping. Williams Collection.
