Tom Beckett General Great photo of an area that was at the time a railfan paradise. From an operating man's point of view, it must have been a horrible time to work in the industry, always having to deal with equipment and facilities that suffered a lack of maintenance. For a fan, the jointed rail, semaphores, towers, etc, were, looking back from today, exuded railroad character unlike anything in operation today. 12/8/2015 2:09:12 AM
